Pablo J. Sierra-Duque, D.M.D

Dr. Sierra graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry in 2000. After graduation he moved to upstate New York where he trained and completed two General Practice Residency Programs at Faxton-St. Luke's Memorial Hospital in Utica, NY and the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital/Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York.

Upon completion of his post-graduate training he and his wife Mariel, who is a board certified Family Physician, moved to North Carolina where he worked in private practice. He also served Special Needs populations doing hospital dentistry and performing comprehensive dentistry cases in the operating room under general anesthesia.

In order to provide his patients with the best and most advanced treatment options Dr. Sierra has been actively taking continuing education courses on sedation, TMJ disorders, occlusion, implant dentistry, restorative techniques and many others with some of the best speakers and experts in those fields.

In early 2007, Dr. Sierra and his family moved to Florida to be closer to home (Puerto Rico, USA). They were attracted to Citrus County because of its natural beauty and small town atmosphere. Dr. Sierra has two sons, Ian and Ethan (who was born here in Citrus County this past year). In his time off, Dr. Sierra enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking, dining, reading and is learning to play the guitar and piano and after many years of frustration, some day expects to finally learn to play golf.
